  • Blow-offClippings blown off drives, walks and porches before we leave, so nothing gets tracked inside.
  • Bush trimming & pruningBushes, shrubs and hedges trimmed, shaped and pruned to keep them healthy and off the house and walkways. Add it to your visits or book it once.
  • FertilizingLawn fertilizer applied through the season so the grass fills in thick and stays green.

How pricing and estimates work

Mowing is priced per visit after Brad has seen the yard. Lot size, how much trimming there is, slopes, gates and how often you want service all go into the number.

You get the price before the first cut. Shrub and hedge trimming is quoted on its own line so you can take it or leave it.

Estimates are free. Call or text (419) 654-2893, email bradporter1113@yahoo.com, or send the estimate form.

Clay soil and wet springs

Most of Wood and Lucas County sits on heavy clay that holds water well into May. Mowing a soaked yard leaves ruts that last all summer, so after a hard rain it is better to wait a day than to tear up the turf.

Lawn Maintenance questions

How often should my lawn be mowed?

Most lawns in Northwest Ohio need a cut about once a week from late April through June, when grass grows fastest. Growth slows in the heat of summer and picks back up in early fall. How often your lawn is mowed is set with you when you get your estimate.

When does mowing season start and end around Toledo?

Mowing usually starts in April and runs into late October or early November, depending on the weather. The first and last cuts move a week or two each year with the temperature.

Do you trim shrubs and hedges too?

Yes. Bush and shrub trimming, hedge shaping and pruning can be added to your regular mowing visits or booked as a one-time job. It is priced separately from mowing.

Do you fertilize lawns?

Yes. Greener Results fertilizes lawns through the growing season to keep the grass thick and green. It can be added to a mowing plan or done on its own, and it is priced after Brad sees the yard.

Do you put down mulch?

Yes. Fresh mulch can be spread in your existing beds in spring or fall to hold moisture and keep weeds down. It is priced by how many beds and how much mulch they need.

Do I need to be home when you mow?

Usually not. Let Brad know about locked gates, dogs, or anything in the yard to watch out for when you set up service.

Which towns do you mow in?

Perrysburg, Toledo, Maumee, Sylvania, Bowling Green, Rossford, Oregon, Waterville, Whitehouse and Holland, plus other parts of Wood and Lucas County. If you are close by and not on that list, call or text and ask.
